While working at Positivity Branding, in Amsterdam, I got the opportunity to pitch a design for a new Greek ultra premium olive oil. The pitch included bottle design, packaging and branding.
The brief was very open. For the client, it was a particularly personal project as it originated as a homage to his mother who had recently passed.
For this reason, I decided to take an apothecary-like approach with a modern spin with a matte ceramic bottle, the idea being that it would be kept with care past its life as simple packaging for olive oil and repurposed.
I also communicated the story on the neck label and on the inside of the box to really accentuate the sentimental importance of the object.
