This personal project started with my adoration of our Jack Russell, Roma, and with my love for drawing her.
I decided to try drawing her in a selection of different illustration styles of popular animations, such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Adventure Time, Disney and Pixar.
The process was so enjoyable and the results so cute, that I took the project further and developed some 'family portraits' of us on the famous sofas from each cartoon as a Christmas present last year.
ps: I know there's a trend at the moment to use AI to create pet portraits in different styles, particularly with Disney and Pixar, however all of the illustration above were created by hand - starting with a sketch on paper, then followed by the use of Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
